The longer I’m a survivor of Cancer and all the health issues that have happened thereafter the more I resent the fact I got it. At 18yrs of age after being diagnosed with it and the 10+ years after that in remission you’re thankful you’re alive and live your life to the fullest.

Thanking every day you’re alive and probably at times taking that privilege a little further than you should and at times not thinking of the future. Well here I am nearly 20 years to the day from when I was diagnosed with cancer and the frustrations and continuous question of “Why Me” is forever on my mind.

Not because it destroyed my chances of being a successful AFL player and potentially doing something I always dreamed of as a kid, being able to be paid to play a sport. But because of what restrictions it has placed on my life right now. And the thoughts of what the next 20years may bring…continue reading.

It's not always about the Training!

Surprisingly our 16 year old who has no sport/fitness interest whatsoever has started doing the workouts with Noah and Adam. We set up the rumpus room with rubber mats and put all the equipment in there and it is really lovely to see them work out together ā€“ it has actually brought the boys together alot, especially Noah and Will as they have the biggest age gap and have nothing really in common ā€“ so we must thank you for that added bonus as well...
